Full course description
The course will cover turfgrass identification, cultural practices (mowing, cultivation, fertilization, irrigation, etc.), and pest management (weeds, insect, disease, nematodes).
Upon completion of the training, participants will be able to:
- Identify common turfgrasses grown in Florida
- Understand fertilizer and irrigation needs of turfgrass
- Identify the common pests known to impact turfgrass and solutions to these pests
Course Length: Approx. 7 hrs
Additionally, a certificate of completion and continuing education units (CEUs) are available upon completion:

- 1 Limited Fertilizer
- 2 Limited Lawn and Ornamental
- 4 Ornamental and Turf Pest Control
- 4 Private Applicator Agriculture
